Note
The right of Permanent Residence Fee does not apply to certain specific categoryapplications. This fee is mandatory for all PR applicants, except for dependent children and protected persons.
Under certain circumstances as well the principal applicants in the “Humanitarian and Compassionate” and “Public Policy” categories are also exempt from the PR fees.
Members of the permit holder class cannot include accompanying family in their PR applications. These individuals are advised to submit their separate applications as principal applicants
